GGBS Concrete

GGBS is a byproduct of the steel manufacturing industry.
After the molten iron is discharged, the remaining molten slag (mainly composed of silicon-aluminum residues) is rapidly water-quenched, dried, and ground to the required size.

Long-term strength advantage

Compared to OPC, GGBS has lower early strength but higher strength at 28 days.

Reduction of hydration heat

GGBS can reduce thermal cracking caused by hydration heat during the concrete curing process.

Enhanced durability

GGBS can improve concrete's resistance to chemical attack, such as sulfate and chloride ion corrosion, thereby enhancing durability.
